Description We are currently looking for an experienced functional safety expert for a Germany-based company with innovative and forward-looking projects. Responsibilities: Creating and maintaining safety-related documentation Planning, testing, and conducting safety acceptance tests Commissioning and testing safety-related systems Ensuring compliance with standards and legal requirements Requirements: Extensive experience with IEC 61508 / IEC 61511 Practical experience in risk analyses, SIL classifications, and safety case development Experience with safety-related control systems (such as Yokogawa Prosafe, ABB 800xA Safety, HIMA, or comparable systems) Experience in planning, project engineering, testing, and commissioning of safety-related systems Fluency in spoken and written German and English General Information: Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 months with an option to extend
