Alpine EPC Partners requires a functional safety engineer for a pharma utilities project. Scope includes SRS review, SIL verification calculations, proof-test recommendations and coordination with the DCS vendor on safety instrumented functions.

Responsibilities

Review safety requirements specifications and cause-and-effect charts
Perform SIL verification for selected SIFs
Support proof-test interval recommendations
Coordinate with process and automation engineers on design changes
Prepare concise safety lifecycle documentation for client review

Required skills

IEC 61511SIL AssessmentIEC 61508Siemens PCS 7

Preferred qualifications

Proven IEC 61511 project experience in regulated industries
Familiarity with PCS 7 Safety or comparable platforms
TÜV Functional Safety certification is advantageous
